Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:
ongoing maintenance at assigned centers; reacting to emergency situations as they arise; completing preventive maintenance as directed by immediate supervisor; and ensuring that centers are maintained in a safe, inviting condition.
The Technician may be called upon to assist in inspections of renovations and new construction.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance in multiple facilities Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all onsite equipment to include basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, plastic or sheet metal fabrication, welding, or associated work using hand and power tools Troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and report them to supervisor Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work, as necessary.
Physically complete repairs as needed and requested through work orders submitted by center staff Other related duties as assigned.

Ability to process, track, and status work orders Proficient with basic computer systems (email, Microsoft Office applications) Proficient with basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, plastic or sheet metal fabrication, or other associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools.
Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to perform some travel (up to 10%) Education and

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
